Who we’re looking for 

Toyota’s Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, NC (TBMNC) is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and highly organized Executive Assistant. 

 

Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to perform administrative duties supporting executive leadership (President, Vice President, and General Manager level) within TBMNC. 

 

What you’ll be doing  

  • Manage corporate leaders’ calendars and events for General Manager level and above.

  • General administrative/clerical duties as assigned for General Manager level and above.

  • Create and update weekly/monthly reports.

  • Manage visitor schedules and accommodations.

  • Organize and prioritize requests for time with Executives in alignment with Executive and organizational priorities.

  • Create documents and presentations for Executive meetings.

  • Schedule travel and support with expense reports for Executives.

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of projects and activities.

  • Support senior executives outside normal business hours as needed based on executive travel or workload demands.

  • Collaborate with other staff within TBMNC to support job functions as needed.

  • Manage requests related to usage of office and facility resources; facilitate necessary approvals, provide directions and contacts.

  • Develop methods to identify and resolve problems.

  • Prioritize and develop options for problem resolution and seek management approval to implement.

 

What you bring  

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Intermediate to Advanced skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Outlook.

  • Experience in a fast-paced role requiring multi-tasking and consistent follow up to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

  • Experience in a role utilizing organization skills (ability to prioritize multiple activities/tasks).

  • Experience in a role with quickly changing responsibilities, tasks, assignments and the ability to manage a quick pace.

  • Experience supporting Executives in an administration role.

  • Ability to travel, less than 10%.

 

Added bonus if you have  

  • Japanese or other language skills.

  • Experience in a start-up environment.
