What You'll Do
A typical day at MySpot is dynamic and fulfilling, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to improving children's lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to diagnose speech, language, and communication.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
- Provide speech and language therapy sessions to patients with diverse needs, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Educate patients and their families or caregivers about speech disorders, treatment plans, and home exercises to support ongoing progress and carryover of therapeutic goals.
- Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
What You'll Need
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in state of practice.
