Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME

$27.34/hr

Reporting to the Plant superintendent the Maintenance technician performs a variety of activities to maintain industrial plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition.

Duties include:
1. Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
2. Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
3. Performing advanced manufacturing machine troubleshooting
4. Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs and installations as needed
5. Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
6. Accurately and completely prepares and maintains maintenance records and other paperwork
7. Keeping supervision informed of problems and/or unusual situations
8. Documents completion of work orders.
9. Independently diagnoses all required repairs in a timely manner with no supervision
10. Contacts vendors to resolve complex issues to resolve and correct;
11. Performs advanced PLC troubleshooting, troubleshoot programmable motor controllers, and programmable logic devices.
12. Performs advanced electrical knowledge capable of designing basic control systems
13. Demonstrates successful project management
14. Working positively with maintenance and operations teams
15. Successfully performs other duties as assigned by plant management and lead personnel to include “special projects” as well as mentor other employees in the maintenance department.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM
Shift length: 10 hours
Monday - Friday, some required OT and Saturdays

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
  • Must pass background check
  • Can lift 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
At least 2 yearsr experience in Manufacturing Maintenance. Electrical training/certification/education preferred. High school degree (or equivalent experience) Troubleshooting skills in industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures - and the aptitude to correct those failures.
