Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, T-SQL (Transact-SQL), database backup, disaster recovery, DBA, and production servers.

Proficient in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load data), Data Ingestion with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SQL Server PowerShell modules, Azure PowerShell, SSIS and Azure Data Factory operations as a hybrid data integration environment.

Create/Use/Maintain custom T-SQL stored procedures and triggers to improve performance, support development efforts by fine-tuning data loading processes, preserve referential integrity, provide additional application functionality to implement business logic, and automate various tasks.

DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and/or M language in Power Query for data preparation and shaping tasks that are essential for building robust data models in Power BI.

Supported SQL Server High Availability solutions in Staging/Production environments.

Experience in Database Design activities including Data Files and File group organization, Capacity Planning, Data Partitioning and Data Normalization.

Deploy/configure/maintain the Microsoft Azure platform to ensure automatic and timely backup of databases during desired and specified intervals.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the company SQL servers so that our clients data is compiled, stored, and accessible.

Design and develop database structures, install and configure database software, and monitor and tune performance.

Design-Implement-Maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines to ingest our client's data from different external sources into our Azure Blob Storages and On-premises SQL Databases.

Responsible for designing and developing database structures and providing consultative assistance to software developers.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelors degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or engineering.

Minimum 3 years of IT experience with SQL queries and databases and managing Microsoft SQL Server.

Preferred: 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Microsoft's SQL Server Business Intelligence (SSRS, SSAS and SSIS)

2+ years experience with Business intelligence (BI) solutions from Microsoft (ADF, PBI, Storage blobs, etc.)

Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query (M) languages in Power BI functionality a plus.

SQL Server PowerShell modules, Azure PowerShell experience a plus

Ability to learn business processes and procedures for application development and database management.

Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and work well on a team.

Exceptional organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, ability to prioritize, and execute tasks under pressure.

Always maintain a positive attitude.

A strong attendance record and work ethic.
