Job Summary
The Surgical Technician (non-certified) is responsible for functioning as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Follows established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing and packaging, disinfecting or sterilizing and storing medical and surgical supplies and equipment.
Education and/or Experience
\t
\tGraduation from an approved Surgical Technology education program or 5 years relevant experience required.
\t
\t- 3 - 5 years’ experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
\t- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
Work Schedule
\t- Varied 8-hour or 12-hour day shifts, 72 hours every 2 weeks
\t
\t\t- Weekend on-call rotation
\t\t - Holiday on-call rotation
\t\t - On-call rotation
\t

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
\t- $22.00 - $31.75
