Team members have the unique opportunity to explore diverse business lines, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of finance, including accounting, audit and supply chain management.Job Duties and Responsibilities DISH is seeking a Regional Safety Specialist to join our teamKey Responsibilities:Travel approximately 50% to DISH sites in the Midwestern and Northern U.S. and conduct field safety auditsSupport various site, regional, and national safety and risk mitigation strategies for DISH, IHS, DISH Wireless, Manufacturing, Uplinks, Boost, etc.Create, approve, and maintain training programs to enhance worker safety and meet OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, NEC, and other state regulatory requirementsReview and investigate accidents, track high-risk employees, and maintain Accident Reporting recordsKeep track of ongoing training at DISH locations and provide offices with materials as neededManage the Driver's Alert program, and evaluate call reports, responses, and driving behaviorsReview overall collision and employee driving habits and recommend required corrective action, separation, etc. based on violationsInteract with DISH locations, visit field offices, perform facility audits, conduct training, address employee safety issues, and work with management to create a safety cultureInteract with fleet and other departments to maintain vehicle safety and address other issuesResearch, test, recommend, and mandate the use of specific safety equipment and personal protective equipmentPartner with various departments, groups, and teams to improve safety and reduce riskManage and review driving records and programsParticipate in local and regional meetings, calls, accident assessments, and other regional initiativesCreate company wide regional and local emergency action plansOther duties as required. A.) from a four-year college or university; and two years of related experience and/or trainingCSP certification is a plusSkills and Qualifications:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, or government policyAble to write reports/correspondence/procedure manuals, present information, and respond to questions from managers/customers/general publicAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesSalary RangesCompensation: $54,650.00/Year - $78,100.00/YearBenefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
