Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the on-floor supervision of others on a shift in planning and executing all production, warehousing, distribution, quality, maintenance, cleaning, and training activities according to functional plan and budget
  • Supervise up to 25 employees
  • Maintains a team of subordinates who can produce the outputs required
  • Conducts daily alignment meetings or assigns designee to do so

  • Trains, certifies and appraises the personal effectiveness of each subordinate
  • Enforces conformance to standard operational and standard work practices by observing and coaching/correction: quality, productivity, attendance, work rules, safety, and cleanliness
  • Cardone product knowledge, preferred
  • Plan production operations, establish priorities, schedules and sequences for the Distribution Daily Activity report to deliver production and quality
  • Maintain quality system to include: puller rejects, quality audits and non-conformances
  • Gather, analyze, report and store operational data production, quality control, maintenance, safety, cleanliness
  • Identify and address non-conformities
  • Maintain a safe work environment (i.e., an injury free environment) communicating and enforcing safety rules and safe work habits
  • Oversee the inspection of machines and equipment to ensure expected operational performance, cleanliness and utilization
  • Report and resolve operational, distribution and maintenance issues as needed to minimize cost and operational delays
  • Perform other duties as assigned
