OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine Physicians for a full-time position to staff our facility at Lane Regional Medical Center. Work schedule includes 10 and 12-hour shifts.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT:
The 21-bed Emergency Department is just under 8,500 sq. ft and includes specialized treatment areas for critical care, mental health and fast track non-critical care designed to improve the care process and reduce waiting times. There are two trauma and two mental health bays for treating high acuity patients. Lane Regional has 24/7/365 coverage of board-certified emergency and family medicine doctors.
Emergency Department Statistics:
- Approximately 30,000 visits annually
- 21-beds with dedicated fast track and specialty treatment areas for critical care and mental health
- Physician coverage = 32 hours per day average
- APP coverage = 18.5 hours per day average
- Meditech EMR
- Excellent specialty backup and advanced practitioner support
- Supportive nursing and administrative staff
OUR FACILITY:
Lane Regional Medical Center (formerly Lane Memorial Hospital) has 139 beds and provides a full range of medical services, including emergency care, surgery, occupational therapy, pediatrics, psychiatry, imaging, wound care, and sleep studies which we were recently awarded the prestigious Pathway to Excellence Designation. The hospital also operates a 30-bed medical rehabilitation center, a 38-bed nursing home, a 12-bed skilled nursing unit, a family practice clinic, and a home health agency. Founded in 1960, the hospital has a staff of more than 100 physicians. Lane is a state-of-the-art regional healthcare system that is continually expand ing and adding new technologies, programs, and services such as Interventional Cardiology, Medical & Radiation Oncology, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Wound Care and Hyperbarics.
