Bodies In Balance is seeking a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients. We are dedicated to promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through various massage techniques. If you are enthusiastic about enhancing clients' health and wellness through therapeutic touch, we welcome you to apply.
Duties:
- Perform thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Administer massages through different modalities, focusing on acute pain management and relaxation.
- Utilize your expertise in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Provide excellent patient service, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience for all clients.
- Collaborate with the team to promote occupational health and wellness initiatives.
- Offer specialized services such as myofascial, prenatal, deep tissue, aromatherapy, cupping, etc. for a holistic approach to healing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in physiology knowledge to tailor treatments effectively.
- Implement pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and improve quality of life.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist.
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage, acute pain management, and massage treatments.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to inform treatment plans.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service.
- Prior experience in pain management strategies is advantageous.
