Responsibilities

  • Assist DON in oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our clinical department.
  • Hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
  • Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status on electronic care system
  • Assist in oversight of aides and nurses and other care staff. delegation of nurse duties to unlicensed personnel as needed
  • Other leadership duties as needed
  • On Call

Qualifications

  • Current RN Nursing license in the State.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care
  • Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
  • Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
