Gabrielli Truck Sales is currently seeking to fill a position in our parts department.
Job Description: To sell parts to customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently assist all customers in selecting required parts in a professional and friendly manner
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials to ensure the customer is exposed to the full product line
- Answer phone calls and provide quotes along with other information.
- Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate attention Follow up on back-ordered parts.
- Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Ensure that all customers receive a copy of their invoice.
- Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
- Participate in all training programs that are available.
- Stay updated on new products. Job Requirements:
- Computer knowledge
- Be motivated, proactive, focused and well organized
- Minimum 3 years experience with Auto or Truck Parts
Education / Experience:
- High School Graduate
- Parts Department
Experience Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to work overtime when necessary
- Flexible Hours
- Ability to stand all day if necessary
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Use of a hand truck if necessary
- Climbing up ladders and stairs
- Warehouse environment
