Job Responsibilities: As a Manufacturing Team Leader, your role will involve:

  • Directing Team Leaders and hourly production members in their assigned manufacturing areas (assembly, injection molding, powertrain, stamping, urethane, welding, etc.) to achieve production goals.
  • Managing the operational unit to ensure goals and targets align with company policies.
  • Upholding manufacturing standards for safety, product quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
  • Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Experience with production methodologies such as Six Sigma or Toyota Production System is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Willingness to work on the 2nd shift if needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base compensation for this role starts at $80,000, with potential for a higher base with automotive experience.
  • Bonuses and supplemental pay for hours worked in excess of 45 hours per week are available.
  • Our client offers an excellent benefits package, including company-paid medical insurance and 401k matching. Optional benefits include dental, vision, and life insurance.
