Position Overview:
As a Nursing Supervisor at Citadel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Kingsbridge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care through effective management of nursing staff. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct nursing personnel to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Design and execute comprehensive nursing care strategies and protocols.
  • Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges with efficiency.
  • Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to enhance case management.
  • Provide necessary airway management and respiratory assistance.
  • Apply utilization management practices to optimize resource use.
  • Deliver specialized care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Implement effective pain management techniques to ensure patient comfort.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including inhalation therapies.
  • Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in a nursing facility.

Qualifications:
  • Current nursing license (RN or LPN) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a nursing leadership or management position.
  • In-depth understanding of patient care principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with case management methodologies.
  • Expertise in airway management and respiratory care.
  • Experience in utilization management is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively engage with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of pain management strategies.
  • Proficient in medication administration and inhalation therapies.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or assisted living environment is preferred.

Starting at $45.00 per hour
