This role plays a critical part in our fast-paced department, which handles a high volume of customer orders primarily through email and online portals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have experience with order entry systems (preferably JD Edwards and AS400), and be able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.If you are interested in learning more about this position, todaysalary: $19 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesReview purchase orders received via email or portals and accurately enter them into our order management system, JD Edwards, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.Prepare for the transition to new order management systems within the next year or two, adapting quickly to changes and maintaining a smooth order entry process during the transition period.Handle a high volume of small purchase orders, ensuring quick and accurate data entry while maintaining a fast-paced work pace.Communicate effectively with customers to provide order status updates, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.Enter all orders received for the day before the end of the shift, meeting the department's daily order processing goals.Utilize multiple systems, including JD Edwards and AS400, as needed to complete order entry tasks efficiently.SkillsActive ListeningTelephone EtiquetteBasic Software SkillsCUSTOMER ORDERS/SALES (2 years of experience is required)Customer supportAS400 (2 years of experience is required)QualificationsYears of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
