This individual will be involved in Metal Framing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceiling, and Cleanroom scopes and is responsible for the following duties:Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projectsEstablish labor productivities for estimateMaintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self-perform group.Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages.Be involved in the internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team.Participate in the customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.Contract administration for secured projects.Prepare wage and benefit schedules.Assist in the hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team.Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s).Requirements:Basic RequirementsAt least 3- 5 years of estimating construction projects.Minimum RequirementsExperience with estimating drywall or cleanroom scopes construction.Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCIs scopes of workStrong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.Excellent communication and customer service skills.High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.Preferred RequirementsBachelors degree in Construction Science or Construction ManagementOSHA CertificationBenefits:At Performance Contracting our employees are our greatest asset.
