Job Description:

Responsible for carrying out the day to day material management activities within a multi temperature controlled GMP warehouse environment that supports site operations, goals and objectives by using both manual and electronic systems, software and hardware,

whilst maintaining safety and GMP compliance at all times.

Warehouse specific tasks:

Perform raw material management activities, such as (but not limited to): raw material receipt, inspection, labelling, put away, storage, picking, checking, delivery, rejects, returns, rejects and cycle counting.

Maintain accuracy of stock levels and recording ensuring all records are up to date.

Entering various transactional orders into SAP systems to support the activities of the warehouse.

GMP and Safety responsibilities (at all times):

To be aware of and act in accordance with all risk assessments, safety precautions and GMP requirements relevant to the task are being performed.

To attend and pass all relevant training sessions required and keep training profile up to date at all times.

Ensure all paperwork is completed to GMP / DI standards and complies with any client global and regulatory requirements.

Be responsible for all GMP Warehouse Records & log books, ensuring old versions are replaced, and all records are archived in compliant fashion.

Perform area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdowns.

Ensure all areas are audit ready at all times.

Maintain 6S principles in all warehouse and plant storage areas.

Communication / Time Keeping (at all times):

Maintaining good relations at all times with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are followed to the highest standards and are compliant with both site and regulatory requirements.

Demonstration of reliability, good time keeping and a responsible team/customer orientated attitude.

Support Lean practices and actively engage in department continuous improvement activities, questioning current practices to actively promote and improve the area.

Warehouse additional activities (as required):

Inspection and operation of forklift and other manual handling equipment.

Skills

Numerate, literate and works to a high degree of accuracy.

Previous warehouse experience, using SOPs and SAP WMS/ERP systems.

Demonstrable EHS and GMP awareness.

Motivated and able to achieve results to tight deadlines (maintaining EHS and GMP processes).

Works well in a team or as an individual.

Experience:

GMP, GDP Warehouse experience.

3-5 years of relevant experience.
