CNC Machinist

Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in Mokena, Illinois. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is from $24-$31 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 2nd shift opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Program and Setup CNC equipment for production operations Repair tools, fixtures, and dies Perform preventive maintenance on machinery Perform changeovers on equipment Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns





Experience Needed:

At least 3 years of recent machining experience Ability to make parts and repair tooling using mills and lathes - must be able to run a VTL Strong experience with setting up CNC machines and operating them for production Experience with a Mori Seiki 4 axis horizontal mill with Fanuc controls, Mazak lathe experience, vertical milling experience, program reading and program edits. able to do fixturing and set-up Must be able to read blueprints, use dial calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, and scales Ability to perform shop math and ability to read schematics Ability to rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead cranes
