As a case manager, you will be responsible for managing a case load of patients being treated for TB until their treatment is completed which includes initial and follow-up assessments, medication administration, coordination with other providers, education, and any other aspects of case management. You will also assess and coordinate medication administration for patients diagnosed with latent TB infection. Your role plays an integral part in the mission of public health agencies throughout the US whose initiative is to eliminate tuberculosis by promoting health, controlling the spread of TB, treating those affected by TB disease and preventing TB by assessing and treating those affected with latent infection.
