We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospice and palliative care, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a hospice and palliative care setting
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient progress
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Current RN license in the state of Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice and palliative care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Education:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Completion of a hospice and palliative care certification program preferred
