You have specialized skills and our patients in Tarrant County need them If you are an enthusiastic individual seeking an environment dedicated to superior patient care and an organization with a strong mission to serve our community, we invite you to apply Benefits: * Various shift availabilities * Tuition assistance/reimbursement * Low nurse-to-patient ratios * Expansive benefit package for eligible employees * Professional development and advancement opportunities * Targeted approach to career development * Strong interdisciplinary teamwork opportunities * Superior quality patient outcomes * Supportive leadership and culture What you will do in this role: * The clinical supervisor/charge nurse assures the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends and on holidays or when CNO/NM/Interim is not in building * Responsibilities include assessment of all departments in order to assure continuity of care and report pertinent information to management and administration * The clinical supervisor/charge nurse is responsible for effectively communicating unusual occurrences or complaints for follow -up and intervenes immediately when needed * Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors * Ensures occurrence of appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records; monitors completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan * Assists to review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes in order to continually improve performance and outcomes; communicates this information to the nursing department * Assures education and training is provided to nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs) assures timely and accurate QI assessments and scoring are performed * Other duties as assigned * Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelor's degree preferred * Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required * Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred * Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability * Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required. * Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills A career at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, a 40-private bed, state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operated as a tri-venture with Lifepoint Health, Texas Health Resources and Methodist Hospital System, is more than a job.
