ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, NO weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Encourage patient independence within the scope of their potential.
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, toileting, and other activities outlined in their individual care plan.
  • Provide a supervised, structured environment that promotes safety while encouraging independence.
  • Accompany patients in outdoor program activities and field trips.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in communications or business administration preferred.
  • Previous nursing attendance experience with impaired adults. Complete of a certified program preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.
  • CPR certified.
  • 40 ours or equivalent Alzheimer's Disease Specific Training within 6 months of hire.
