Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring production output meets production specifications.
  • Detects issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Identifies process-based variations, adjusts and corrects parameters within acceptable ranges.
  • Assigning responsibilities to team members to support the day-to-day plan and job-related tasks.
  • Trains new employees on how to safely operate process, use machinery and follow procedures.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on process related equipment as needed.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards.
  • Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.

About the Company : SCGC is comprised of family-owned grower-members who produce approximately 4 million tons of sugarcane, grown on over roughly 75,000 acres of land in Palm Beach County, Florida. SCGC along with its partner Florida Crystals Corporation (ASR the worlds largest sugar refinery) produce more than 6 million tons of refined sugar annually including brand names such as Domino, C&H, Redpath, Tate & Lyle, Lyles and Sidul.
