Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrician who can undertake a variety of responsibilities related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and skills in different areas of electrical services, such as residential, commercial and industrial. Effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and being a team player are amongst some of the essential competencies required for this position. The goal in this role will be to lead one or more crews with a clear understanding of job requirements to effectively produce, maintain, and complete a well-functioning job in a timely manner from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Expected to conceptualize concepts easily and visualize potential outcomes. Plan layout, inspect, repair, and install electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and NEC
• Bending and installing conduit, pulling and installing wiring throughout structures, diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels, busbar, electrical feeders, power systems and/or switchgear following NEC
• Work and maintain tools and electric trade related equipment in the office and company vehicles to ensure items are ready and available in safe operating condition
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting while been able to provide guidance to apprentices/helpers
• Maintain exceptional communication with office to be able to provide detailed information about job requirements, expectations, and change orders
• Attend weekly scheduled company meetings

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of electrical experience (preferred)
• Clean Drivers License
• Strong knowledge and understanding of NEC
• Great attitude, reliable, self-motivated, productive, and committed to safety
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work
• Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the electrical trade such as standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting unassisted
• Committed to being drug free
