Job Description

  • Lead and direct teams of 4-10 Journeymen and/or Helpers
  • Maintain and clean and safe project environment, use company tools to maintain accurate and descriptive records and documentation
  • Proficiently utilize technology (Phone, tablet, timeclock) to relay accurate and descriptive information to Project Team
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wiring, control, and lighting systems
  • Navigate technical instructions, drawings, and diagrams, be proficient in reading blueprints and architectural plans
  • Inspect wide range of electrical equipment and components including transformers, circuit breakers, motor drives, backup power systems, etc.
  • Identify electrical problems using an array of testing and troubleshooting equipment
  • Repair and/or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools
  • Complete data and control wire connections, test for accurate connections
  • Work within local, state, and national governing guidelines, be familiar with and execute NEC regulations and practices
  • Complete work orders, keep accurate records of materials used and time spent
  • Direct and/or train fellow team members to install, repair, or maintain electrical systems, execute quality work in both team and individual environments
  • Experience with restaurants and retail a plus

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years commercial electrical foreman experience
  • State issues Journeyman Card highly recommended
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
  • Capable of instructing, coaching, and leading a team towards the completion of the task and ultimately the project
  • Reliable means of transportation to job sites
  • Possess own hand tools and basic power tools
  • Able to work from ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.
  • Experience working with 480v systems
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in installation, maintenance, and repair or electrical systems and equipment
  • Driven attitude, attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and strong interpersonal communication skills
