Bee Bright with Wordwise is actively seeking New York State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (Monolingual & Bilingual) to join our team as 1099 contractors. This opportunity is tailored for professionals ready to provide exceptional therapy services to children of all ages within the communities of Nassau and Suffolk counties. Most of our clientele are 0-3 years old, and up to 10 years of age. We are looking for therapists who want the flexibility of setting their own schedules and hours, and who enjoy varied settings: on the road, at a small office, preschools, and community centers. Some telehealth may be available in addition to in person.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech therapy services in-home, daycare, preschool, school-based, office-based, group classes/language enrichment classes, private insurance, early intervention, and the possibility for virtual therapy services across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Please let us know if you are able to travel to NYC (which borough), although this is not required.
Obtain caregiver consent and signatures following each therapy session & adhere to documentation requirements set forth by state programs.
Consistently document sessions using SOAP notes at the point of service (on location, Last 5 minutes of every session Dedicated to documentation).
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including maintaining open lines of communication with supervisors, families, and educators.
Compile and deliver quarterly progress reports and annual reviews.
Feeding therapy experience is highly desirable.
Evening & Weekend availability is highly preferred.

Position Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid New York State SLP License.
TSSLD/TSHH certification.
For Bilingual SLPs: Bilingual Extension Certification.
SEL/SCR Clearance.
A minimum of 6 months experience working with the pediatric population.
Current Professional Liability Insurance.
A strong passion for working with children experiencing Developmental/Speech Delays.
Self-motivated, open to feedback, and culturally competent.
Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions.
Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational skills for case management and documentation
