Position Summary:

STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a customer service and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily and administrative functions essential to benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess customer service skills, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, prioritizing their workload, and adhering to pertinent deadlines. This position reports to the Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Administer benefits in ADP, respond to employee inquiries, and mitigate claims issues
  • Manage LOA including FMLA/STD/LTD/Military/Personal Leave
  • Manage all benefits invoices by reconciling invoices and submitting to Finance for payment
  • Process QMCSO’s, wage garnishments, and employment verifications
  • Collaborate with ADP’s Benefit Solution Specialist to ensure successful new hire enrollment and benefits management while mitigating discrepancies
  • Create benefits reports for compliance
  • Update and manage ADP homepage with a benefits resource center
  • Create instructions for benefits processes
  • Escalate benefits related dilemmas to Sr. Compensation Benefits Specialist
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • 3+ years of administering benefits programs is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Knox by Samsung
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, time management, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail
  • Function efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
