As a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator for Interim HealthCare -, you'll visit patients and families in their homes and connect them to the resources, counseling and support they need to rise above their challenges and live their best. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated -PRN Hospice Bereavement Coordinator to provide spiritual support and guidance to patients and families in a hospice setting. This role will also involve coordinating bereavement services to ensure that families receive the necessary emotional support during and after their loved one's transition. - -Our Hospice Bereavement Coordinator enjoy some excellent benefits: -

Acts as the hospice spiritual services community liaison by developing community contacts and offering hospice education to a variety of clergy, counselors and congregations.Provides funeral or memorial services for patients as requested.Providing Bereavement Services for patient familiesA few must-haves for a Hospice Chaplain:Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree)Completed 3 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) UnitsExperience working with death and dying, terminal individuals and their families or caregiversHospice experience is required -Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator, empathetic, compassionate and resourcefulFounded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation's first home care company.
