PRN Hospice Bereavement Coordinator

As a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator for Interim HealthCare®, you'll visit patients and families in their homes and connect them to the resources, counseling and support they need to rise above their challenges and live their best.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Hospice Bereavement Coordinator to provide spiritual support and guidance to patients and families in a hospice setting. This role will also involve coordinating bereavement services to ensure that families receive the necessary emotional support during and after their loved one's transition.

As a Hospice Bereavement Coordinator , here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
* Acts as the hospice spiritual services community liaison by developing community contacts and offering hospice education to a variety of clergy, counselors and congregations.
* Provides funeral or memorial services for patients as requested.
* Providing Bereavement Services for patient families
A few must-haves for a Hospice Chaplain:
* Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree)
* Completed 3 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Units
* Experience working with death and dying, terminal individuals and their families or caregivers
* Hospice experience is required
* Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator, empathetic, compassionate and resourceful
