Advocate Health is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois. This location has 4 interventional cardiologists, 3 non-invasive cardiologists, 2 electrophysiologists and 5 APNs.

Our patients have access to one of the largest heart programs in the U.S. and more nationally recognized doctors and hospitals in these areas.

Recognized for advanced technologies by U.S. News and World Report, our medical centers lead the way in surgical excellence with technologies like TAVR, top pediatric heart programs, and positive outcomes.

Advocate Health Midwest Region does 50,000 procedures annually and has more than 250 clinic trials. Among other non-profit organizations in the country, Advocate has the 10th largest heart program in the country.

  • 1.0 FTE clinical opportunity
  • Competitive salary

  • General call: Every 6th-7th weekend and 1-2 days every 2 weeks

Training and/or experience required

  • BE/BC in cardiovascular disease
  • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required

Advocate Sherman Hospital is a 255-bed acute community hospital in Elgin that has provided high-quality care to Chicago's northwest suburbs since 1888. The hospital features a Level II Trauma Center; it sees more than 60,000 emergency room visits, delivers over 1,700 babies and performs more than 10,000 surgeries annually. Supported by four immediate care centers and 12 Advocate Medical Group sites, Advocate Sherman provides more than 325,000 outpatient visits per year.
