Construction Project Manager - Multifamily & Luxury Single-Family Developer


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of both luxury single-family homes and multifamily developments. This role requires a deep understanding of high-end residential construction and the unique challenges of multifamily projects, ensuring every project reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and timely delivery. You will manage diverse, high-profile projects from concept through completion, ensuring the highest standards in luxury living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Development: Lead the project design and planning process for luxury single-family and multifamily developments, working closely with architects, designers, and consultants to ensure all plans align with the project’s vision.
  • Diverse Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple, varied projects, ranging from boutique luxury residences to large-scale multifamily developments, ensuring each project maintains its unique design integrity and meets the client’s high expectations.
  • Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets for diverse residential projects, ensuring financial performance aligns with forecasts and project goals.
  • Luxury Standards & Quality Control: Implement and monitor strict quality control measures, especially for high-end finishes, luxury materials, and premium craftsmanship in single-family homes and multifamily units.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring top-tier workmanship and adherence to timelines.
  • Schedule Management: Create and oversee project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met and projects are delivered on time for both single-family and multifamily developments.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing progress updates, addressing changes, and ensuring client satisfaction, especially for luxury homebuyers and multifamily investors.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Ensure all required permits are secured and that projects comply with local zoning, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential delays or issues, addressing them with creative solutions to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Must have experience managing ground up, multifamily project from start to finish.
  • Must have subterranean parking experience.
  • Deep understanding of diverse construction techniques, materials, and sustainable practices, especially in luxury real estate.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for high-level client interaction.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing unique, custom-built homes as well as large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable luxury construction practices.
