Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction from our field Technical Team Lead, perform chiller preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of associated HVAC mechanical equipment, chiller equipment control systems.
  • Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.
  • Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
  • Ensures work is being performed in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics.
  • Properly completes all required project and service documentation.
  • Adheres to customer and CKCT safety standards.
  • Uses best judgment on escalation for critical issues.
  • Assists in developing quotes and estimates, as appropriate.
  • Assists with the identification of material needs required for service delivery.
  • Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by providing a world class experience.
  • Assists with keeping customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs as applicable.
  • Conducts self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency.
  • Completes all training and certifications as required by the client or CKCT.

Qualifications:

  • Union Card Holder – Plumber and Pipefitter Local.
  • High School Diploma, GED required.
  • High tonnage, absorber experience a plus.
  • 5 + years’ experience in general HVAC maintenance.
  • 3+ years' experience in general chiller installation/ maintenance/service.
  • Air cooled/ water cooled, various compressors.
  • Clear Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Ability to pass company drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to be professional, courteous and pleasant with all clients.
  • Ability to act independently.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent CKCT properly to customers and other outside contacts.
  • Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
