About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Services Generalist professional to join our team.
In this role, you will provide HR services support across the US region as part of a larger services team with some dedicated support to the physically located site. Key responsibilities include direct labor recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, payroll administration, and management of compensation and benefits programs. You will also address general team member relations and ensure compliance with HR policies, along with managing personnel records within our human capital management (HCM) system, collaborating closely with the broader services team across the region.

In the role of HR Generalist you would be located at our Columbia, MO Manufacturing Center of Excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for direct labor needs in Columbia MO.
  • Manages the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and completion of required documentation.
  • Serves as a point of contact for team member inquiries and issues, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assists in managing team member performance issues, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Ensures adherence to employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintains and updates HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in conducting HR audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Processes payroll and ensure accurate compensation practices.
  • Addresses team member inquiries related to benefits and compensation.
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate team member records in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
  • Support HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintains training records in alignment with HR/legal compliance.
  • Facilitates team member events and manage service award programs locally as applicable.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in an HR/Business related field
    • 2+ years of experience in an HR role

      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
      • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
      • Ability to provide high-quality HR support and service to employees and managers.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
      • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing HR data and documentation.
      • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handling various HR challenges.
      • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships across the organization.
