A leading manufacturer of automated pharmaceutical machinery is looking for a Field Service Technician in the Nashville, TN area to maintain their products. Ideal candidates will gain vital experience with industrial-grade automated machinery on customer sites. Due to the high level of travel involved in the role, a driver's license with good driving record is required. This is a direct-hire position and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance and 401(k) match.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

Travel regionally to customer locations to provide installations/repairs to automated machinery in service circulation in commercial and industrial settings
Report to Florida office when needed
Train customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipment
Occasionally aid Field Service department in other regions, if needed
Perform support duties in-office when not traveling
Be on call for emergency maintenance needs
Other duties as assigned

Field Service Technician Qualifications:

At least two years of prior field service experience
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical components maintenance
Willingness to travel up to 80%
Strong customer service skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
Valid Driver's License with strong driving record
Ability to work in multicultural environments

This position includes work in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
