DBK is seeking a full-time Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of proposals and marketing collateral material You will work with our VP - Business Development, Executives, and Market Sector Leaders, and play a crucial role in supporting their teams’ efforts. Your primary responsibility will focus on assisting in preparing and writing proposals, executing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, and creating compelling marketing collateral.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a proposal plan, including creating a proposal responsibility matrix, and distribute it to the proposal team identifying the requirements and elements to make sure that the proposal submitted is compliant with the RFP’s or RFQ’s.
  • Develop a production schedule outlining proposal requirements and the proposal process to gather information, review, write, edit, print, and deliver. The schedule will include also client driven items and identify deadlines for questions, response for questions, amendment dates, etc.
  • Host the proposal kick off meeting and collaborate with the entire proposal team to gain consensus on the proposal production plan and schedule.
  • Ask appropriate questions to proposal team members and clients to submit a compliant proposal.
  • Customize the proposal content using material from previous proposals (Company, History, QA/QC plan, Project Management Approach, Resumes, etc.).
  • Gather critical information early
  • Conduct effective proposal reviews going beyond spelling and compliance, enhancing the proposal to sell our firm’s services and differentiating DBK from competitors.
  • After submittal, schedule and prepare shortlist presentations and moderate rehearsals.
  • Collect and save information written by the technical and project information in an organized and easily recoverable way to allow the information to be retrieved quickly for use on future proposals. Comply with brand guidelines.
  • Organize and participate in promotional events, trade shows, community outreach and special events.
  • Create engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, email newsletters posts, and blogs.
  • Assist with other related duties


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, English, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing in the AEC fields, and familiar with construction terminology.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Software, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Publisher, Word, and other graphic programs.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and engaging content.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management abilities; able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
