Role: Sr. Technical Writer

Location: Mclean VA(Hybrid)

Job Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team and create comprehensive technical documentation for our server, webserver, middleware, database, and application products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these technologies and be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and API reference manuals.

· Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather and analyze technical specifications and requirements.

· Create and maintain diagrams and flowcharts using tools like MS Visio to illustrate complex technical processes.

· Review and edit technical documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.

· Provide technical support to customers and internal teams by answering questions and resolving documentation-related issues.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

· Proven solid experience as a Technical Writer, with a strong focus on server, webserver, middleware, database, and application technologies.

· Proven ability to write clear and concise technical documentation for a variety of audiences.

· Strong understanding of technical concepts, including networking, systems administration, and database management.

· Proficiency in using MS Visio and other documentation tools.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of technical writing standards and best practices.

· Experience with content management systems and version control tools.
