Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing the plant’s preventative and predictive maintenance program to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the equipment and processes. You will plan, organize, and direct the work of maintenance mechanics, providing technical support across controls, electrical, and mechanical systems. Your goal will be to monitor maintenance KPIs, utilize PM system reports, and implement corrective actions to improve maintenance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the plant’s preventative and predictive maintenance program to ensure reliable operational performance of the equipment.
- Plan, organize, and manage the work of mechanics in line with the plant’s PM program.
- Provide technical support for controls, electrical, mechanical systems, and equipment.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and review PM system reports to identify areas for improvement and initiate remedial actions to enhance maintenance performance.
- High School diploma or equivalent; a Technical or BA degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job effectively may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs is highly desirable.
- Background in electrical circuitry and repair of production equipment.
- Proficiency in computer applications with experience in team building and leadership.
- Ability to identify various parts and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, instructions, gauges, and meters.
