Touchstone Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be integral to providing therapeutic services to a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges. Through your expertise, you will assess mental health needs, craft individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions, ultimately promoting personal growth and resilience among our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments of clients to accurately understand their mental health issues, develop clinical diagnoses, and formulate effective treatment strategies.\n
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to fit the specific needs and objectives of each client.\n
- Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.\n
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards of mental health documentation.\n
- Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare practitioners to create a holistic treatment plan for each client.\n
- Educate clients and their families on various mental health topics, available treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.\n
- Commit to ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences, staying current with the latest advancements in mental health therapy.\n
You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from young adults to seniors, including individuals and families experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. Your expertise will not only address these challenges but also empower clients to build resilience, healing, and effective coping mechanisms.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.\n
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.\n
- Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.\n
- A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role.\n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster genuine connections with clients and colleagues alike.\n
- An independent, self-motivated work ethic, coupled with a collaborative spirit for teamwork.\n
- A commitment to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice and professionalism.\n

- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, especially within an outpatient care model.\n
- Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).\n
