Position Highlights:
* Flexible Scheduling: Work 4 hour-12 hour shifts. Your choice
* Competitive pay: Flat rate hourly pay of $50.00 per hour.

Job Summary
* The RN in the Med/Surgical/Pediatrics Department will be knowledgeable in the care of the following age groups and maintain RN clinical competency in these groups: Infant, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Sr. Adult, and Geriatric.
* All nursing care functions/responsibilities are based on the ANA standards.
* Responsible for the compliance of Physician/Provider orders.
* Adheres to the Nursing Code of Ethics, Avera's Mission and Avera's Service Excellence Standards.
Education and/or Experience
* Graduate of Registered Nursing Education program.
* 3 years of experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota
* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
* ACLS is recommended.
* PALS is highly recommended.
* Attends all mandatory hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
* Participates in educational opportunities and updates/maintains current professional clinical competency related to areas of responsibilities.
Work Schedule
* Hours:
* Position requires 72 hours worked in a six-week schedule equating to 624 hours annually, not exceeding 1248 hours in a 12 month period.
* Six weekends required annually.
Pay
* Flat Rate pay of $50.00
