Avera St. Mary's is currently seeking a Flex Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
* The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for the delivery of patient care.
* The nurse is guided by professional nursing standards.
* The RN may direct activities of other nursing department personnel.
* All nursing care functions/responsibilities are based on the ANA standards.
* Staff is required to perform their duties effectively.
* Adheres to the Nursing Code of Ethics, Avera's Mission and Avera's Service Excellence Standards.
Education and/or Experience
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associate's Degree at minimum.
* Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
* Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience.
* 3-5 years of experience is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
* Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure
* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff
* NRP is required by 1 year of employment in Women's Center.
* S.T.A.B.L.E is required by 2 years of employment in the Women's Center.
* ACLS is recommended but not required.
* PALS is recommended but not required.
Work Schedule
* Varied shifts as needed; PRN
* 6:45 am - 7:15pm, 6:45 pm - 7:15 am
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
* $50.00 flat rate
