The RN Director reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and physician ownership, ensuring that the surgical centers maintain the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence. This Regional Clinical Director of Nursing is ideal for a nursing leader who thrives in fast-paced, multi-facility environments and is passionate about advancing ambulatory surgical practices.
The ideal Director of Nursing has a strong background in perioperative nursing, with specific experience in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. Many successful Nurse Directors in similar positions have progressed through roles such as OR nurse, charge nurse, and nursing manager in ambulatory surgery settings. A history of working with Joint Commission accreditation processes is highly valuable, as is familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities presented by physician-owned healthcare facilities.
