Watts is a leading brand with aquality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.As the Cut Off Operator, Foundry, you will operate the Wheelebrator and other equipment to ensure the correct manufacturing process is followed. Under the guidance of the Foundry Supervisor, you'll inspect parts, manage defects, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. We ask that you have attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.You Will:
  • Operate the Wheelebrator to follow the correct manufacturing process.
  • Inspect, identify, and separate different manufacturing defects and styled parts.
  • Report mechanical malfunctions to maintenance or the supervisor.
  • Operate a cut-off saw and change worn blades.
  • Periodically clean Wheelebrator screens.
  • Perform routine housekeeping to maintain environmental and safety standards.You Have:
    • High school diploma or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety rules.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English.Prior to joining our team, all candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screenings. These include:1. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
