We are searching for an Inside Sales Engineer for our office in Honolulu, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact our organization and customer outcomes. The successful candidate will have at least 2-4 years of experience in sales, manufacturing and/or engineering. The ability to communicate well and work with others is essential, as this position will interact daily with multiple internal and external teams. This position will report to Victor Murphy, Vice President.

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for the following job duties:

  1. Supporting assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
  2. Supporting fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back-up, when necessary
  3. Advising customers with the proper application and selection of the equipment we sell
  4. Preparing quotes for equipment based on customer input
  5. Entering orders for the equipment sold by the Outside Sales Engineers
  6. Detailed tracking of the order process
  7. Managing the virtual files for all projects in which assigned salespeople are involved
  8. Using the selection programs provided by our manufacturers to select and configure equipment for design and quoting to contractors
  9. Assisting customers with technical support on our product lines and maintaining good working relationships through verbal and written correspondence
  10. Preparing submittals for equipment sold

Experience:

  1. Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, but will consider equivalent job experience.

Critical Skill Set:

  1. Must be extremely detail oriented
  2. Customer service driven
  3. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  4. Strong computer skills
  5. Work well in a Team setting
  6. Thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment
  7. NetSuite experience not required, but a big plus

Compensation:

$60-$90k annually + generous commission, DOE
