Join the Carson Team We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to work in our Portland location in the Lubricant Department. We offer a competitive wage and great benefits Responsibilities include the following: Essential Functions * Filling 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums
* Stocking products
* Loading trucks
* Operating a forklift
* Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position
* Manage preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as directed
* Responsible to report to work at the scheduled time; be a team member, who can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner; be conscientious about assignments
* Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments
* Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* HS diploma or equivalent
* Communicate effectively
* Interact well with others
* Be certifiable for driving a forklift
* Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
* Open to varied work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects related to timely and accurate warehousing and distribution of product.

* Background check and drug test will be conducted and driving record will be checked.
Working Conditions
* Work is performed in a warehouse with a significant amount of walking on concrete surfaces. Entrances may be open; work conditions during summer can be very hot, and very cold during winter
* Workspace could have excessive dust, and on occasion be noisy due to the traffic of motorized vehicles operated in the building
* Periodically may work outside and be exposed to the elements
* Will lift, bend, stoop, pick up, and move objects up to 50lbs. unassisted
* Will work in a typical warehouse environment with fluctuating seasonal temperatures
* Will spend up to 8 hours standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing
* Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
