A well-known acute care hospital situated near Columbus, Ohio, is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time and full-time Hospital Physical Therapy Assistant to become part of their exceptional health care workforce There are openings for both inpatient and outpatient settings with this fantastic hospital system.

The ideal Physical Therapy Assistant candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Ohio State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Proficiency in conducting physical therapy assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health care team.

The Hospital Physical Therapy Assistant will collaborate closely with Physical Therapists (PTs) to implement treatment plans, conduct therapeutic exercises, and assist patients in regaining mobility and function after surgeries, illnesses, or injuries. The Inpatient or Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant will report to the supervising Physical Therapist and work closely with nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
