The Position

You are a dynamic sales pro who is passionate about technology. You thrive in a demanding environment and have a knack for building strong relationships. You will help shape channel development strategies, including defining how Nitel can position itself to expand business development opportunities and channel partnerships. You are responsible for achieving sales targets as well as partner engagement. You seek, qualify, train, and manage sales agents to become consistent revenue producers for Nitel.

Your Playbook

  1. Collaborate with the RVP, Channel Sales, as well as a cross-functional leadership team to establish go-to-market strategy, sales, and growth goals.
  2. Lead channel sales agents to perform at their peak, consistently hitting or surpassing their sales quotas. You'll also carry a mid-level MMF sales quota of your own.
  3. Function as a talent scout by meeting with prospective candidates, putting them through their paces to ensure they’ve got what it takes to become top-tier sales agents.
  4. Coach and educate sales agents on Nitel products, processes, and winning strategies to boost their productivity and deliver game-changing results.
  5. Attend sales calls with end users to qualify and present solutions that make Nitel the fan-favorite choice.
  6. Team up with your sales agents to strategize on how to score big with potential sales opportunities. Work together to provide complete and accurate sales job packages that leave the competition in the dust.
  7. Interface with multiple departments to ensure delivery of services and ongoing sales agent and customer satisfaction.
  8. Prepare agent and customer sales proposals and ensure sales profitability goals on a per deal basis.

Skills You Bring to the Field

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ channel, sales, marketing, and/or business development experience.
  3. 2+ years of sales in telecom or high-tech industry with strong technical capability/computer savviness.
  4. Ability to hit the road to build effective, winning partner relationships.
  5. Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.
  6. Game-changing thinking combined with a sharp business sense.
  7. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  8. Crack presentation skills and training experience are a plus.
