Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and environmental circumstances, enabling tailored therapeutic approaches.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans that identify specific goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.
• Provide empathetic counseling and support to individuals and families, guiding them through life’s challenges and helping them harness their strengths.
• Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized plans while connecting them to community resources and services designed to meet their unique needs.
• Facilitate crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and create safety plans to safeguard clients in distress.
• Build strong partnerships with community agencies and organizations to coordinate comprehensive services and advocate for client welfare.
• Engage in proactive community outreach initiatives to enhance awareness of available services and foster collaboration.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing training to continuously improve service delivery and professional knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification and those in recovery who face complex emotional and psychological needs. This includes supporting clients who have experienced trauma, addiction, or significant life disruptions. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating their healing process, providing them with the tools and resources necessary for long-term success in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential to practice in California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to demonstrate cultural competence and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care principles and practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within a social service agency or similar settings, particularly those focused on mental health, substance abuse, or community outreach.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and methodologies to enhance client safety and well-being.
• Experience using telehealth platforms or digital communication tools to deliver services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
