As the Obstetric Manager, you will oversee a unit with 4 family birthing rooms featuring state-of-the-art fetal monitoring and spacious private rooms. This department, recognized with the “Celebrate 6 Award of Breastfeeding Excellence,” delivers approximately 300 babies per year. Leading a team of healthcare professionals, you will manage both operational and fiscal aspects, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment while ensuring exceptional patient care.
The Obstetric Manager will oversee patient care in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring that nursing staff are proficient in all relevant procedures. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients in triage, participating in emergency response teams, and handling unexpected emergencies. The manager will act as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and coordination. Additionally, the manager will track and report on departmental performance and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
