Locum Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist

Job Summary:

Cynet Locums is seeking a skilled Locum Physician to provide full-time coverage in an Obstetrics and Gynecology unit until permanent staff are hired. The ideal candidate will have experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and possess strong skills in low-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and routine delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide full-time coverage in an Obstetrics and Gynecology unit until permanent staff are hired
  • Work in a Level 1 Nursery and stabilize high-risk patients for transfer
  • Collaborate with onsite anesthesiologists/CRNAs for procedures requiring anesthesia
  • Manage an average of 10-15 clinic patients per shift
  • Participate in obstetric and gynecological procedures and patient care, including routine delivery, C-sections, and complex cases
  • Commit to an estimated 250 orientation hours
Requirements:
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Skills in low-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and routine delivery
  • Office/minor gynecology skills (Preferred)
  • Surgical gynecology skills (Preferred)
