Job Description

The Automotive F&I (Finance & Insurance) Document Specialist is responsible for preparing deals to be sent to the Billing Clerk.

This is an entry level role in our dealership sales department, who will work in a customer facing role with our guests, assisting in signing sales documents and providing guest services or any additional items as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the finance source so that finance contracts can be paid in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the final steps of the purchase process and celebrate with the guest.
  • Provide accurate and timely completed paperwork for successful processing.
  • Converting completed paperwork and documents to the business office.
  • Prioritize transactions and balance daily tasks.
  • Provide an unmatched guest experience and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Preferred:

  • Excellent customer facing experience and communication.
  • Ability to proficiently operate a computer/printer.
  • Automotive dealership or administrative experience (knowledge of F&I process).

Required:

  • May be required to work overtime and weekends.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
