- Candidate Management: Oversee the full recruitment life cycle, from the initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights into the technical talent landscape and ensuring alignment on role requirements, hiring strategies, and interview feedback.
- Talent Mapping & Market Insights: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates and market intelligence, proactively informing hiring strategies.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine recruiting processes through automation, data-driven decision-making, and the use of innovative sourcing tools.

- Client Engagement: Proven track record of working closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and delivering high-quality talent.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to assess technical skills and understand complex engineering roles, ensuring candidates align with job requirements.
- Candidate Experience: Strong commitment to providing a positive and seamless experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Self-Sufficiency: Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Be Onsite. This is not a remote or hybrid role. This role is 100% onsite.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Prior experience recruiting in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with non-traditional recruiting methods, such as cold calling, networking events, or customized sourcing campaigns.
- Familiarity with recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Demonstrated success in building talent pipelines for niche technical roles.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments.
All employees are granted long-term stock incentives as part of their employment as Castelion. All employees receive access to comprehensive medial, vision, and dental insurance, and the company offers three weeks of paid time off per year.
Leadership Qualities
Bias to Action and Creative Problem Solving. Desire and experience questioning assumptions in ways that lead to break through ideas that are ultimately implemented. Successfully bring in applicable processes/concepts/materials from other industries to achieve efficiency gains. Ability to personally resolve minor issues in development without requiring significant support.
High Commitment, High Initiative. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for Castelion’s mission and consistently look for ways to contribute to the company’s technical goals and prevent hardware blockers. Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere. Strong sense of accountability and integrity.
Clear Communicator. Proactively communicates blockers. Trusted in previous roles to be voice of company with regulators, suppliers, gate keepers and customers. Capable of tactfully managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve company-desired outcomes without compromising relationships.
